Casa Orquidea is the original flagship and namesake of our resort. Built in the early 2000s, it was one of the pioneer properties built at Playa Yankee. Beautifully designed and lovingly upkept, this private villa consists of a two-story “main house” containing four spacious and well-appointed bedrooms sleeping 1-4 guests each with their own private bathroom, expansive kitchen under a soaring vaulted ceiling, comfortable living room and dining area, well-stocked library, and a fun billiards table. Outside you’ll find an impressively large upper-story veranda with unparalleled views of the jungle and beach below, and on the lower story you’ll enjoy patio space and an oceanfront infinity pool. You’ll also have access to a fully functional wet bar with a full-sized refrigerator and seating for 6, and the giant oceanfront patio with an additional four two-top tables, lounge chairs, and covered outdoor dining table for 12.
If your group’s capacity exceeds four bedrooms, an additional four rooms can be added on to increase the rental capacity to eight total bedrooms. These additional rooms are located on the same property footprint, down one flight of stairs. This lower level features an incredible 20-meter infinity pool with a bridge you can swim under, rancho lounge area, bunker lounge area, and beautifully landscaped gardens. Each of these four lower poolside bedrooms (which are reserved as a block, not individually) is accessed independently, has its own private bathroom and front patio, and comfortably sleeps 1-4 guests.
