Casa Orquidea is the original flagship and namesake of our resort. Built in the early 2000s, it was one of the pioneer properties built at Playa Yankee. Beautifully designed and lovingly upkept, this private villa consists of a two-story main house containing four spacious and well-appointed bedrooms sleeping 1-4 guests each, and a lower section of four hotel-style bedrooms sleeping 1-4 guests each. Each bedroom enjoys its own private bathroom, patio space, and Pacific ocean views.
Common spaces in the villa include an expansive kitchen under a soaring cathedral ceiling, a comfortable living room and dining area, a library stocked with books and games, and a fun billiards table. Outside you’ll find an impressively large upper-story veranda with unparalleled views of the jungle and beach below, and on the main level you’ll enjoy patio space and an oceanfront infinity pool.
Not to be missed, Casa Orquidea features incredible outdoor leisure and entertaining spaces including a giant oceanfront patio with a fully functional wet bar and seating for six, covered outdoor dining table for 12, additional two-top dining tables, and comfortable lounge chairs. Down one flight of stairs, the lower infinity pool features a gorgeous 20-foot waterfall and a bridge you can swim under. Enjoy our beautifully landscaped gardens and two additional lounge spaces on this level.
